The College has obtained affiliation from the University of North Bengal, West Bengal. Now the College offers three year CBCS approved Degree courses in

- BA Honours in Bengali, English, History, Education, Philosophy
3. ELIGIBILITY:
As per Point 4 for General Course and Point 5 for Honours Course.
4. ELIGIBILITY for GENERAL COURSE:
Those who pass the HS (10+2) or equivalent examinations from any recognized Board are eligible for getting admission to 1st semester course subject to availability of seats in the general Stream. The college admits students as per the merit list prepared after receiving applications from the aspiring candidates.
Candidates passing HS Vocational Course can apply for admission in the 1st semester General Course of BA.
[NB--Students passed Patrachar / Correspondence Courses / Open School are not eligible for Admission to the courses offered by the college.]

The candidates are asked to submit Admission Forms online and follow instructions for Form Submission. The admission is open to both Male & Female students.
The College admits a limited number of students who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or its equivalent Examination in the year 2019,2020 & 2021. A candidate is eligible to seek admission to the 1st semester of 3yr ( six semesters) B.A. (Hons. & General) Courses of Studies under CBCS system provided he/she has also passed in English having Full Marks of not less than 100 and subject to fulfillment of other conditions as laid down in the University Notification .
7. Admission Notification for Academic Session 2021-22
Applications through ONLINE MERIT BASED ADMISSION SYSTEM UNDER THE CHOICE BASED CREDIT SYSTEM [CBCS] are invited from eligible candidates for admission to 1st Year of three year degree (6 semesters) general & Honours course for the session 2021-22 at Baghmara College on and from 02/08/2021 to 20/08/2021 (up to 11:59 p.m) For online application students have to register himself / herself by paying Rs.0/- through online admission link available on our college website (www.baghmaracollege.com).

Subject-wise & reservation category-wise Merit lists will be available on the website as per admission schedule or as directed by the University.
ALL MERIT LISTS ARE PROVISIONAL IN NATURE. THE COLLEGE AUTHORITY HAS FULL RIGHT TO RECTIFY THE SAME IF FOUND NECESSARY TO DO SO.
IMPORTANT: For preparing the merit list, the most important document is the mark sheet of HS or equivalent exam. Therefore, all applicants must be very cautious while they are filling the mark sheet part of the on-line form. Any mistake in this part can change the rank of the candidate in a particular merit list. If, in any case, such a candidate is found, during the verification of documents, whose rank is going to change due to corrections in the submitted mark sheet data, or, found to be ineligible by any other criteria announced on the website, his/her candidature will be canceled immediately.

11. NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR VERIFICATION:
- Original Admit Card / Certificate of Secondary or Equivalent Examination or birth certificate for verification of Age.
- Passport Colour Photographs - 2(Two) copies.
- Original Mark sheet of 10+2 / or Equivalent Examination
- Original OBC-A / OBC-B. Certificate in the name of the candidate to be produced at the time of Form Verification/Submission, if applicable.
- Original SC/ST certificate in the name of the candidate for this Reserve Category, if applicable, from Competent Authority at the time of form verification/Submission, otherwise the Application Form will be rejected.
- Attested copies of (1), (3), (4) & (5)
- Character certificate from Last School attended.
- Online Anti Ragging Notary of both Student and Guardian.
- Printed copy of duly filled application form.
12. GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING ADMISSION
- The applicants are advised to read the Admission Notification carefully and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for admission to the Courses for which they have applied.
- If the College Admission sub-committee finds at any stage that the candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criterion or that the information given by the candidate is incorrect or suppressed, the admission will be cancelled for which the College will not be liable to furnish any reason.
- If the students take admission inadvertently, their admission will be cancelled subsequently and fees paid will not be refunded.
- All admission will be treated as provisional subject to the Registration or Approval of the University.
- Regarding all admissions, the decision of the College Authority will be final and no further queries will be entertained after the Admission process in closed.
- Bonafide SC/ST and OBC-A / OBC-B will be considered for admission under Reserve Category as per Rules.
- Submission of Application Form for admission does not imply any right to admission in the course applied for.

13. University Registration
After admission the college will timely call for filling the University registration forms.( For 2021-22 A.S the Proposed last date of submission 29/11/2021)
14. Assignment of Roll No
After admission the college will award Roll No. to each student.
15. Issue of college identity card
Students will be issued Students’ Identity cards after university registration is done.
16. ACADEMIC TERM
Academic SESSION-2022-23
The academic session which normally commences on the 1st day of July of every year but this year it will be from 1st October 2021.
17. Refund Policy
In any circumstances, no online application (registration) fees refund shall be allowed. No such application will be entertained.
For obtaining a Transfer Certificate (TC), a sum of Rs.100/- will be charged.
